Why we do it.

Australian women saw only 4% of total startup funding between 2018-2021.

There is an unrelenting lack of capital in the hands of Australian women-founders. We at Scale are here to change that.

Our angels are an exceptional cohort of accomplished individuals from diverse backgrounds, who not only possess the desire to support women founders, but understand the clear economic opportunity that investing in women-led startups provides.

What we believe.

The evidence is clear.

Women make for better investments*. Investing in women is not only essential to empowering the future, it is also a luctrative investment opportunity.

We believe the future of investment is gender-diverse, and strive to close the gender-investment gap through ensuring women have access to capital.

Through both our investment and education channels, we demonstrate and drive what we know to be true:

  • A gender-equal future is ensured by the empowerment of women in the present

  • Investing in women is the best investment
